Inspired by the bold flavors of Port-au-Prince, these wings combine Haitian seasoning, heat, and flavor in a way that’s unforgettable. Every bite tells a story of where I come from — flavorful, vibrant, and full of soul. It’s the dish people ask for again and again, and it perfectly reflects my passion for bringing Caribbean flavor and comfort food together.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My parents are my greatest culinary inspirations. Growing up, I watched my mother cook with love, passion, and creativity, turning simple ingredients into meals that brought everyone together. My father inspired me through his hard work, discipline, and appreciation for good food and family traditions. Together, they taught me that food is more than just a meal — it’s culture, connection, and love. Their influence is the reason I pour so much heart into every dish I create.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I would grow Flavor District CLT by upgrading equipment, expanding marketing, and increasing inventory to serve more customers. I would invest in branding, community events, and creating new Afro-Caribbean inspired menu items like my Port-au-Prince Wings. My long-term goal is to own a food truck so I can bring my food and culture to more communities while building stability for my children and expanding my business.
