Familiar flavors, reimagined. I blend global cuisines while honoring the soul of Japanese cooking.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

My mother is my inspiration. She showed me what food truly is-using the finest ingredients and heartfelt love to bring happiness to her family.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the prize in educating and mentoring young chefs. I want to pass on the skills and experience I have gained over 30 years, and use it to create more meaningful dining experiences for others.
