Who is your culinary inspiration?Sookie Saint James, the chef at The Independence Inn/Dragonfly Inn on Gilmore Girls, is a fictional character who has inspired my real-life culinary accomplishments. After seeing her wedding cake with all the sugared flowers, I made a similar wedding cake for my friend's wedding. Sookie made fried stuffed squash blossoms, so I made them too. Her fresh ingredients and interesting combination of flavors has always inspired me to create delicious and beautiful food.
