My signature dish would consist of roasted Cornish hen or baked fish in a butter sauce with fresh creamed corn, sauteed green beans and tomato slices on the side. When these menu items are paired together, they elevate your taste buds beyond what's not expected. Topped off with freshly squeezed lemonade.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration consists of the late Chef Anne Burrell, may she rest peacefully in food heaven, Chef Micheal Symon and Chef Carla Hall. I absolutely love their passion for what they do, as well as their kitchen personalities. They all remind me so much of myself in the kitchen.
What would you do with the $25,000?When I am awarded the $25,000. It would go towards a commissary kitchen space, equipment and additional staffing.
