My signature oxtails are slow-braised for hours until fork-tender, packed with bold Southern soul flavor, and finished in a rich, comforting gravy served on a bed of seasoned white rice with creamy macaroni & cheese and collard greens with smoked turkey.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My mom was my first culinary inspiration. Watching her cook taught me that food is love. But much of my journey came through trial and error, passion, and perfecting recipes that bring people comfort and joy.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I was chosen as the $25,000 winner, I would use the funds to purchase a used food trailer and invest some into my restaurant by purchasing a new double door refrigerator. It would definitely be a blessing to win.
