Receive Text UpdatesI would say a lamb bolognese. My mom cans the tomatoes from my dad's garden all summer, so I use those when she lets me! They grow almost everything for that sauce, and we get our meat from a local farmer. It's all organically grown and raised. Having fresh ingredients that you know the exact origin of is absolutely priceless to me, both for flavor and the health of my family.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My husband. I cooked a little before him, and always had an interest, but when he came around and we had our daughter, I really started to try to make things both healthy and tasty for him. He can eat almost anything, and it's fun to make him things I know he'll love. He's not a chef, but he knows his way around the kitchen, and to stay out of it when I'm making something!!
What would you do with the $25,000?We live in a very small house. There's three people, two cats and one fat chihuahua... we need more space! I would put most of it into the house fund. I'd LOVE to have my own garden and some animals. Having the money would get us another step closer.
