Receive Text UpdatesThis Dish for Round 1 (First Picture) is: Lobster Newberg in a puffed pastry cup atop a triangle of white chive omelet. A decadent brunch dish that pairs well with a fuller bodied white wine or bubbly. My signature dish is also egg based - beef tenderloin with bearnaise sauce.
Who is your culinary inspiration?Coming from the wine industry, I worked with many restauranteurs and enjoyed learning their dishes to properly pair wines to. Having also previously worked in the restaurant industry (front house), I always enjoyed cooking at home and making the best dishes I could find, often hosting wine paired dinners for friends. I love to try new things and am always on the lookout for something that is just down right delicious.
What would you do with the $25,000?I'd throw a big dinner party for all of my friends and co-workers who supported me in this venture, showcasing many of my favorite dishes and best dishes from this competition. Plus I would do some food shopping for unique, harder to find items or items that are typically out of my usual price range and make some food that makes you melt with every bite.
