Receive Text UpdatesThis is a very difficult question to answer because I love making a variety of dishes and cuisines. So I would say, grilled flank steak with green bean almandine roasted roasted tomatoes and cilantro pesto, an arugula spinach salad with goat cheese, salami, grilled pears and other veggies, or shrimp and grits.
Who is your culinary inspiration?Also a tough question. I love so many chefs, but growing up my mom had to work all the time so I was in charge of cooking and feeding my brothers, she would call me and tell me what to do which usually consisted of frozen peas, ramen noodles and some kind of bland protein. So it made start to be creative and test other recipes and watch a lot, like A LOT of cooking shows and reading cooking books. All that I make is self taught outside of a few stages I did at fine dining restaurants as an adult
What would you do with the $25,000?I am currently collaborating with a friend to try and start a food truck and possible a brick and mortar place down the line. Also I work with a group who helps people in recovery or food deficiencies to provide meals. I would use the funds for that cause and to grow a business.
