Receive Text UpdatesI have several: Rouladen…I was born in Germany I learned how to make it from my mom. It’s a dish to this day that takes me home and lets others experience Bavaria. I also am half Italian and I make amazing meatballs. Lastly, my husband is from the deep south and I learned how to make great fried chicken carrying his mom’s recipe forward.
Who is your culinary inspiration?There are several: I love Carla Hall ever since Top Chef, the late Ann Burrell, Julia Child, Ina Garten and Sivan from LA.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would build an outdoor kitchen and possibly invest in starting a small baking business. I also love to dig clams and have considered teaching others who want to experience shell fishing—I’d call it “clamchella”
