Inspired by the rich flavors of Nepal, I use fresh ingredients and authentic spices to create memorable meals. The Thakali Set, featuring rice, lentils, chicken curry, fresh salad, green chili sauce, and Gundruk, represents the heart of Nepali cuisine. These dishes reflect my passion for sharing Nepal's culture, tradition, and hospitality through food.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration comes from my mother and the hardworking chefs I have met throughout my journey. Watching my mother cook taught me that food is more than a meal—it is a way to bring people together. I am also inspired by chefs who respect tradition while embracing innovation, creating memorable dining experiences through passion, creativity, and dedication.
What would you do with the $25,000?Winning $25,000 would help me take the next step in my culinary journey. I would invest in advanced culinary training, develop unique menu concepts, and work toward opening my own restaurant that celebrates Nepalese and international flavors. I would also use part of the funds to support community food initiatives and create opportunities for aspiring cooks who are passionate about the hospitality industry.
