Receive Text UpdatesStuffed grape leaves is my signature dish. I learned to make them from my baba/grandma and it makes me feel close to her every time I make them. The recipe is unique, unlike anything I’ve tasted in a restaurant and is a family favorite.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My grandma was my first culinary inspiration and much of what I make today is inspired by my memories of our time together. Cooking with my nieces and nephews, teaching the next generation about cooking and family recipes is one of my favorite things to do. I also draw a lot of inspiration from celebrity chefs. I like to put my own spin on their recipes and make them my own. Cooking is a creative outlet and something I really love to do.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would plan something fun with my family. My husband has grown to love cooking, so it might a trip to take cooking lessons together someplace wonderful like Italy or Spain. Maybe something with our extended family so we can all be together making wonderful memories. Some of the best memories are made cooking with the people you love and sharing a meal prepared with your friends, and family.
