Who is your culinary inspiration?Mother Nature is the inspiration—the master architect of interconnected systems. She reveals how seasonality, environment, and ecology shape the land and human experience. Cooking is guided not only by ingredients at their peak, but also by the atmosphere of a place, energy of the elements and story behind a gathering. What would you do with the $25,000?I would bring my daughter home to South Africa to meet her family and roots, grounding her in where she comes from. I’d clear a small amount of debt, then invest in building a life and body of work rooted in food, land, and healing—creating immersive experiences that nourish beyond the plate. This support would allow me to grow something meaningful that not only sustains us, but contributes to a more connected, inspired future for humanity as well.
