What is your signature dish?

My signature style is elevated comfort food inspired by Southern and Cajun flavors. From scratch-made salsbury steaks to loaded bayou bowls and fresh pasta salads. I focus on creating meals that are comforting, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Cooking became a creative outlet for me, and now it’s turning into the foundation for my catering business and future food truck dream.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

My biggest inspiration comes from the people who made food feel like love and connection growing up. I’m inspired by Southern cooking traditions, bold Cajun flavors, and chefs who bring personality and warmth into their food. I admire chefs like Carla Hall because they make food feel joyful, approachable, and deeply personal.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the $25,000, I would invest it into growing Flavors & Savors and bringing my food truck dream to life. Cooking became more than a passion during some of the hardest seasons of my life—it became comfort, creativity, and purpose. Building my business from the ground up has taught me resilience and faith in myself. This opportunity would help me expand my catering business, invest in equipment, and create a future for my children doing what I love.
