My signature dish is seared scallops topped with chimichurri, Mexican street corn risotto, fire roasted vegetables, creamed corn foam. Seared scallops and risotto was always my grandfather’s favorite meal. I actually made it for him while he was in hospice on the last day he was feeling good. I cried the whole time making it. I have made this dish for many dates in my life. It even helped me get my beautiful wife!😘😉
Who is your culinary inspiration?I look around my hometown. Definitely a lot of big name chefs making a huge impact around Minneapolis. Andrew Zimmern, Diane Moua, Yia Vang, Gavin Keysen are some of my favorites.
What would you do with the $25,000?I have just recently started my own private chef company called enhancing vibes culinary concepts. I would use that money on equipment needed for transporting food, a new kitchen tool kit, and other items to get my business up and running.
