Receive Text UpdatesFor me, cooking is 10% talent and 90% execution. To simply say that I have one signature dish is utterly under-selling me and my talents. I am a well rounded chef and am very comfortable in executing any dish required of me. However, when boxed in, one dish that has been requested of me multiple times will be my version of Chicken Congee (rice porridge) and my Chicken Adobo.
Who is your culinary inspiration?This might sounds cliché, but my Grandmothers, both my Filipino and Black grandmothers, are my true culinary inspirations. They have inspired me from such a young age and continue to do so posthumously.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest a big chunk of my winning wisely but also take a big culinary trip and adventure to South East Asia.
