My signature dish is a refined interpretation of Colombian Caribbean cuisine: butter-poached lobster served over creamy coconut rice, paired with crispy yuca, charred sweet plantain purée, and a passion fruit beurre blanc. It combines elevated culinary techniques with the bold flavors and soul of Colombia, creating a dish that feels both elegant and deeply rooted in my culture.
Who is your culinary inspiration?Who is your culinary inspiration? My culinary inspiration is my family, especially the strong Colombian women who taught me that food is love, culture, and community. I’m also inspired by Colombian street vendors and home cooks who create incredible meals with passion and creativity. Their resilience and authenticity motivate me to share Colombian flavors with people from all over the world.
What would you do with the $25,000?What would you do with the $25,000? I would use the $25,000 to grow my dream of sharing authentic Colombian food in the United States. I would invest in equipment, food permits, branding, and a small food business focused on Colombian street food and traditional recipes. My goal is to create opportunities, represent my culture proudly, and build a business that connects people through unforgettable food experiences.
