As a kid, I would “help” my mom make ravioli for special occasions, watching her fill trays that covered every surface of the house. This version honors those memories while adding my own touch, blending nostalgia, technique, and the warmth of cooking for the people you love.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My inspiration comes from the people and moments tied to the food I love — my mom’s birthday cakes, my dad’s Sunday waffles, the crème brûlée shared with friends on Cape Cod. Food has always been how I connect, remember, and care. Every dish I create is a way of honoring those memories and sharing them forward with warmth and curiosity.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d invest in growing Recipe Remodeler — better equipment, improved photography, and tools that help me share recipes with clarity and warmth. This isn’t about chasing a trophy; it’s about building a community. The prize would help me reach more people, share more stories, and keep creating dishes that connect memory, technique, and joy.
