Receive Text UpdatesMy signature dish is slow-roasted Puerto Rican pernil pork shoulder, marinated for days and cooked until tender with crispy caramelized edges. It’s a simple dish rooted in family, comfort, and bold flavor that people always remember.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My biggest inspirations are Rachael Ray, Giada De Laurentiis, and Ree Drummond from The Pioneer Woman. Growing up, my mother and I watched their shows faithfully while sharing milk and cookies, creating memories that inspired my love for comforting meals made with simple ingredients. I began cooking at a young age because of my mother’s health, and over time, I learned how food brings comfort, love, family, and connection to others through every dish I create.
What would you do with the $25,000?The $25,000 would help support the launch of my children’s food truck while also helping me take the first steps toward opening my own small restaurant. My vision is to create opportunities for families through food, community, and entrepreneurship. As a mother, I want my children to grow up understanding teamwork, creativity, culture, and the importance of building something meaningful together.
