Mastering southern biscuits has been my mission for most of my life. My cookies are legendary (just ask my science class) but so is my steak (pretty sure that's how I got my husband).
Who is your culinary inspiration?My Papa (grandpa) and my husband. Papa started my love for southern biscuits. I still can't seem to make them like he did but I will never give up. My husband's dietary needs from an incredibly rare condition have greatly expanded my creativity. Where I once stuck to recipes now I am able to use them as guidelines and adapt to his needs. While also gaining the confidence to play with flavors.
What would you do with the $25,000?Expand my kitchen and storage space. My goals include loving on my community and supporting others with similar dietary needs. Everyone deserves a good meal or treat. I love my little gingerbread house but my kitchen is not the best for cooking together and feeding the community.
