My signature dish is birria tacos. They represent my heritage and my love for bold, comforting flavors. I slow-braise the meat until it’s incredibly tender, then serve it in crispy tacos with rich consommé for dipping. It’s a dish that brings people together and reflects the style of cooking I’m most passionate about.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration comes from my family, my heritage, and my love of bringing people together through food. Some of my favorite memories are centered around meals shared with loved ones, and that inspires me to create dishes that are both comforting and memorable. I also draw inspiration from restaurant-quality cuisine and enjoy elevating everyday ingredients into beautiful, flavorful dishes that make people feel special.
What would you do with the $25,000?Winning $25,000 would be life-changing. I would invest in my culinary business, expand my private chef services, and create more food content to inspire others through cooking. My goal is to build a successful food brand, and this opportunity would help me take that next big step while doing what I love most bringing people together through great food.
