Who is your culinary inspiration?Just one? Gregory Gourdet has been a large inspiration for introducing me to bold and new-to-me flavors that wake up my tastebuds, his cookbook is amazing and everything I make in it turns out perfect and has created many new family favorites. Kat Lieu is another inspiration for introducing me to fish sauce in cookies (YUM!) and Szechuan peppercorns on cookies. They inspire me to expand my horizons when blending new teas.
What would you do with the $25,000?The $25,000 would be primarily used to purchase a custom electric tricycle to sell cold brew teas from. I love to bike commute, I love teas, and this would be the perfect addition to my growing herbal tea business. What is more Portland that selling craft beverages from a tea trike manufactured in Portland? The rest of the money would be used to make infrastructure improvements to my farmer's market set-up, custom tent, banners, and table cloths.
