What is your signature dish?

Pan-Seared Scallops with a Ginger and Garlic Rice Noodle Salad. Tender, golden-seared sea scallops sit atop a tangle of silky rice noodles tossed with crisp shredded carrots, sharp red onion dressed with a ginger and garlic vinaigrette.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

My culinary inspiration comes from two powerful women: my mother and Julia Child. My mother was a wonderful country cook who taught me that food is love. Julia Child showed me that cooking is a skill anyone can learn with curiosity, courage, and joy. Together, they shaped my mission to help people cook fearlessly and gather around the table.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to expand Life At The Table, my virtual culinary school, with a Fearless Cooking curriculum that changes lives through cooking. With skill-based modules, videos, recipes, and guided practice, I want to help home cooks improve their health, build confidence, bring joy back to dinner, and create community around the table with delicious, nutritious food.
