Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration has always been Emeril Lagasse. While most kids came home to watch Sesame Street, I came home to watch Emeril. After every episode, I’d run into the kitchen pretending I had my own cooking show. Today, as a Portuguese Canadian mom, I share that same passion through recipes that preserve my culture while making Portuguese food approachable for modern families.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won the $25,000, I would pour it right back into my dream and passion for culinary. I would invest in creating more high quality recipe videos, building my brand, and continuing my journey toward publishing a Portuguese cookbook that preserves my culture and family traditions. Most importantly, it would allow me to keep sharing authentic Portuguese food with a larger audience while inspiring others to connect through cooking.
