Receive Text UpdatesI thought about this quite a bit and even though I do have meals that I go back to I’d be hard pressed to pick one as my “signature “ dish. What I truly love about cooking is the adventure. My cooking pulls from all parts of the world, I’m almost always trying a new ingredient, new gadget, and continuing my adventure in cooking.
Who is your culinary inspiration?When I was a young boy I was strangely drawn to cooking shows. Chefs like Paul Prudhomme, Martin Yan, Jacques Pépin, among others gained my full attention when their tv shows came on. But Julia Child would probably be my pick. She was amazing and seemed a little nuts, I really enjoyed her shows. After watching I’d end up doing my own “show”. I’d drag in my brother and do an episode on making kool aid or something ridiculous like that.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d desperately like to move on from current career. I would probably use the money as a down payment on a food truck.
