What is your signature dish?

I honestly can't say I have a "signature" dish. I just love cooking. I do love cooking with wild caught salmon. It's so versatile and hearty and full of healthy fats. If I had to say signature, it would be pan seared salmon with rice or quinoa. Adding a little soy and hot sauce to the rice or quinoa before cooking for extra flavor. Add fresh veggies and herbs from the garden. A good char on an al dente carrot can really boost a dish. Topped with dressed arugula.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

I am inspired by the freshness of Danish cuisine, the humble comforts of British cuisine, and simplicity. I love transforming a few ingredients into something unexpected and flavorful.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25k I would put into my own business, Dot's Hot Chicken, to make sure my employees are taken care of and I would donate to local non profits to help the food insecurity that is happening in AR right now.
