Receive Text UpdatesMy signature dish is browned chicken stew with white rice. It’s a Dominican comfort classic.
Who is your culinary inspiration? My mother is my culinary inspiration. She taught me many things and one of them is that food is more than a meal. it’s culture, love, resilience, and home.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I would finally have the chance to build a stable future. As a DACA recipient, I love America, but the uncertainty of my future has pushed me to look beyond it. I found a culinary program in Argentina that costs $17,000 including housing, and attending it would allow me to continue growing as a chef while starting a life where I can fully plan for my future. Cooking has always been my way of creating community, and this opportunity would help me turn survival into stability.
