Pan Seared Citrus Rubbed Salmon with wilted cucumbers and fresh dill. Norwegian Salmon: sauteed smoked salmon with tomatoes, olives, capers, scallions and dill in a lemon vodka cream sauce tossed with egg fettuccini served over baby spinach.
Who is your culinary inspiration? My childhood home was right across the street from my grandmother. She would invite me over weekly for French Canadian styled foods. Dishes such as Tourtière, Cretton, Boudin, Pan Fried Smelts, Liver & Onions etc. She was a fantastic cook but an even better baker. At the age of fourteen I began working in a restaurant kitchen and discovered that cooking was my true calling.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the money to create an online cooking school platform. I opened Chez Boucher Cooking School in 2003 and to this day I continue to operate the school on a part time basis. I have taught thousands of people to cook over the last twenty-three years.
