It's packed with bold Louisiana flavor and has become a crowd favorite at family gatherings, community events, and catered functions. Every bite represents my New Orleans roots and my passion for bringing people together through food.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration comes from my family, my New Orleans heritage, and the people I serve. Growing up, I learned that food was more than a meal—it was a way to show love, celebrate life, and build community. Those lessons stayed with me as I cooked for church events, nonprofit fundraisers, family gatherings, and community organizations. Seeing people connect over a great meal inspires me every day.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest the $25,000 into growing Bayou Heat Kitchen, my dream of sharing authentic Louisiana flavors with a larger audience. The funds would help purchase equipment, secure permits, expand catering services, and build toward launching a food truck. It would also allow me to continue serving community events and nonprofit organizations that are close to my heart while creating a lasting business for my family and future generations.
