Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration is my family and the rich food culture of Louisiana. Growing up around home-cooked meals, seafood boils, gumbo, and traditional Southern dishes taught me that food is about bringing people together. I am inspired by the generations of cooks who passed down recipes, techniques, and a passion for hospitality. Their creativity and ability to turn simple ingredients into memorable meals continue to influence my cooking today
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to help launch a wine and spirits bar that also serves as a workforce training center for young adults. By partnering with organizations like Job Corps and Job1, the business would provide hands-on hospitality training, mentorship, and employment opportunities while creating a unique community-focused destination
