Anytime there’s a family party or event, I’m always asked to bring a pot of my arroz con gandules! It’s a traditional Puerto Rican rice dish packed with flavor and culture. It’s become one of the recipes people know me best for, in person & online.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration is my mother. Watching her work two jobs while still coming home to make hot, flavorful meals for our family inspired me deeply. She had a gift for making something out of nothing, and through her cooking she showed love, resilience, and creativity. She inspired me to learn how to cook and for myself and now I share it to others online!
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I would invest into growing my culinary brand inspired by my Puerto Rican and New York roots. I would purchase equipment, ingredients, that will help me grow professionally. I’d also invest in content creation so I can continue sharing my recipes and turn my passion into a long-term business. My ultimate goal is to keep my culture alive and continue sharing with the world.
