Receive Text UpdatesIt’s hard to pick one. I both love cooking a savory main dish and a sweet dessert, so I have to pick two. My friends are CONSTANTLY asking me to make my french onion brisket. That was all my best friend wanted for the holidays was a brisket. The second is my classic custard fruit tart. It always impresses and is typically easier than people think.
Who is your culinary inspiration?I have two people that influenced my love. The first is Alex Guarnaschelli. She is just a badass woman that truly has a voice and I grew up watching her. My second is Anthony Bourdain. From working in restaurants to traveling the world, he truly made me realize that the best way to get to know people is through food and their cultures.
What would you do with the $25,000?I have recently decided to make a career change out of medical lab science so that I can become a librarian. The $25,00 would pay for my entire master’s degree program to help me achieve my dreams. I love sharing books just as much as sharing food.
