Receive Text UpdatesI couldn’t commit to one dish. I am a culinary explorer and researcher and the kitchen is my lab. I am an American cook who embraces the melting pot that is my country.
Who is your culinary inspiration?So many chefs from the early days (1990’s) of the food network. I learned a lot of food science from Alton Brown and still enjoy anything he presents. Mario Batali and Anthony Bourdain showed me the world and history of food through a camera lens. I learned many skills and gastronomy from all the hosts of “The Chew”. I watched it everyday from the moment I discovered it.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the winnings to fund my kitchen and micro farm to be used for teaching and learning. Everyone should be able to know how to grow and prepare food while working with nature and community.
