Connect What is your signature dish?

My signature dish is chicken fried steak with creamy homemade gravy, browned butter mashed potatoes, and green bean bundles wrapped in bacon and roasted to perfection. It’s the kind of comforting meal that brings everyone to the table and always leaves people asking for seconds. To finish it off, I serve warm homemade chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven — the perfect ending to a classic Southern-style meal.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

My culinary inspiration comes from the generations before me, especially my mom and dad. My mom passed down a love for comforting Southern food, while my dad inspired me to try new things and learn new recipes. Together, they taught me that some of life’s best memories are made gathered around the table with friends and family. Cooking has become my favorite way to love and celebrate the people around me.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the $25,000, the first thing my husband and I would do is pay off debt and create a little more freedom for our family. After that, we’d love to celebrate life and our upcoming 10th wedding anniversary with a special trip to Charleston and Savannah. Food, travel, and making memories together are some of our greatest joys, and this would give us the chance to slow down, celebrate how far we’ve come, and enjoy a meaningful milestone together.
