I am known for my incredibly beautiful charcuterie displays that are full of chef prepared and homemade creations. Being from Kentucky, I tend to lean into a southern gracefully prepared fare, with a twist! Many of my bakery’s offerings are old family recipes. We bring in the crowds weekly for their favorites…OJ cake, cream horns, chicken and egg salads, petit fours, cookie jar and specialty cookies and more! Too many favorites to list!
Who is your culinary inspiration?I have lived the Julia Childs life…stay at home mom faced with a late in life need for income, culinary school and I worked extra hard to be at the top of my all male class. Sent on an externship to Italy to show my skills off in Tuscany in exchange for living in a 12th century castle. Traveling with Le Mans racer car teams where I spent summers in France. What would you do with the $25,000?Create a yearly scholarship program for HIgh School girls that are headed into culinary programs. I would have the recipient(s) work at one of my businesses the summer they are preparing to launch into culinary school!
