Winner will appear in Taste of Home magazine, cook with Carla Hall, and take home $25,000
I turn chaos into flavor. Slavic grit, NYC hustle, zero fear. I don’t follow trends: I burn them and plate what’s next.

Who is your culinary inspiration?Anthony Bourdain taught me that food is culture, chaos, and storytelling. David Zilber showed me fermentation is punk science. My biggest inspiration, though, is every immigrant cook surviving impossible kitchens while still making people feel at home.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d invest it into brewing my first commercial beer batches, expanding my gastropunk pop-ups, and building a space where food, fermentation, and immigrant stories collide. Less polished fine dining: more real culture.
