Receive Text UpdatesMy signature dish is my baked ziti with garlic bread and a side of green beans. Although I was raised by Irish parents, I spent a lot of time at my friends' houses growing up and learned from their nonas how to make baked ziti the Brooklyn Italian way.
Who is your culinary inspiration?I remember watching cooking shows with my mom as a child and adult from Emerelle to Giada to the barefoot Contessa. I have loved and feel inspired by so many- too many to name especially my mom Imelda Duignan Murphy.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I were to win the $25000, I would take my family on a trip. I am a kindergarten teacher and my husband is a civil servant. We have a travel trailer that we take on family vacations - and it would be nice to go on a European vacation and experience the cuisine from other cultures first hand.
