What is your signature dish?

Poached salmon with a lemon and dill beurre blanc, paired with roasted leaks puréed and seasonal mixed vegetables.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

Chef Daniel Boulud: His cooking is based on samples of multicultural cuisine, using the fundamental techniques of classic cooking but with a more modern and lighter approach with an amazing visual artistry in his presentations.

What would you do with the $25,000?

My preference for utilizing the prize would be creation of a grant program for home-cooking individuals who are looking to make a transition into a culinary arts career or formal training.
