I love this dish because it represents comfort, family, and bold island flavors all on one plate. The chicken is marinated to stay juicy and flavorful, then finished with a rich garlic butter glaze that brings everything together. The sweetness from the pineapple balances the savory flavors perfectly and gives the dish a fresh tropical.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration comes from both my family and chefs who bring passion and creativity into every dish they make. Growing up, I learned that food is more than something you eat — it brings people together, creates memories, and shows love without needing words. Watching family members cook inspired me to appreciate comforting homemade meals and the joy that comes from sharing them with others. Professionally, I’m inspired by chefs like Gordon Ramsay for his drive and attention
What would you do with the $25,000?000? If I won the $25,000, I would invest it into building my culinary future and creating opportunities for myself and my family. A large portion would go toward continuing my culinary education, upgrading kitchen equipment, and gaining more hands-on experience so I can grow into the best chef possible. I would also use part of the money to help launch my dream food brand inspired by Hawaiian comfort food and island culture, with the goal of creating dishes that bring people together.
