Receive Text UpdatesI don’t have a signature dish, instead I have a system of Breaking Recipes: enjoying real comfort foods without grains or top allergens. I have developed a flour blend and egg replacer that allows me to enjoy my favorite baked goods without grains or top allergens. The photos I shared are all made without grains and top allergens.
Who is your culinary inspiration?I identify a lot with Julia Chia, I used to laugh at her on PBS as child. We both came to cooking later in life. Neither of us fit into a mould. She went to cooking school later in life, I have no formal training. Instead I’ve taught my self to Break Recipes. Families who are supporting their children with dietary struggles motivate me to continue Breaking Recipes. Everyone deserves pizza and cake on their birthday. I’m on a mission to make it happen!
What would you do with the $25,000?Currently I have a small business that teaches families to prepare safe foods for their children without grains or top allergens. I’d use the 25K to start a non-profit branch and award scholarships to parents who currently cannot afford my services because they are burdened with medical bills. Another option is to start producing my flour commercially and invest in marketing, producing, and distributing the flour blend.
