Receive Text UpdatesThe one that people request MOST is my eggplant parm I won an eggplant parm contest years back. Being from the NYC area, there are many Italian/Americans & ALL very judgemental (to put it lightly) regarding their heritage dishes. 2nd runner up would be pork brachiole.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My Grandmother, who raised 3 children as an immigrant during the depression. She made AMAZING food (& not much from cans-but from her garden) They struggled, but she still managed to make amazing, fresh food that our family all tries to replicate today. SOME have hoarded recipe cards.. I'm not mentioning names!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would open up my own "hole in the wall". Literally. I want a kitchen that has a walk up window facing the street, where people can pick up their food, including delivery companies. There is a place in Thornton Park, FL that has been empty that I've been salivating over!
