Receive Text UpdatesMy signature homemade macaroni and cheese is based on a cherished family recipe created by my aunt. Over the years, she perfected it with her own special touches before passing it down to me. Along with my famous mac and cheese, I also specialize in flavorful dishes such as: jambalaya pasta, seafood pasta, pepper steak, chicken salad, honey jerk lamb chops, fried cabbage, sweet potato pie, pineapple upside-down cake, and bread pudding.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration is Emeril Lagasse III. Emeril is chef born in New Orleans. He has helped to introduce Creole and Cajun cuisine to the world. As a child I always enjoyed watching him on the food Network channel. Emeril made cooking fun and approachable instead of intimidating. He was famous for his words “BAM BAM” when seasoning his food. He emphasized taste as you cook so that you can build layers of flavor in your food.
What would you do with the $25,000?I will use the money to open my first restaurant and or bakery in Baltimore City. Cooking and baking has always been a passion of mine, and recently I have been preparing to take it to the next level so that others can enjoy my food and baked goods.I inspire to create a welcoming space where the community will come together and experience fresh, high-quality meals, and desserts made with care and creativity. This opportunity will turn a lifelong dream into a successful business.
