Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration would be both my grandmother (who was a chef) and my mother. Before I could even see over the counter, I was cooking Italian family recipes with both of them. I find myself thinking of them daily, as I re-create some of the recipes they taught me so many years ago.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest it into a restaurant with my boss, Raffaele Ruggieri, the owner of the world renowned restaurant group, The Bice Group. Raffaele’s grandmother started Bice (Bee-Chey) in Milan, Italy in 1926. He is not only my boss but has become a great friend and mentor to me.
