As a proud Quebecer, I love taking a classic comfort food and elevating it with restaurant-quality techniques while keeping the heart and soul of the original dish. Cooking it brings together everything I enjoy about food: patience, creativity, and sharing a great meal with family and friends
Who is your culinary inspiration?My biggest culinary inspiration is my mother. Growing up, she taught me that great food isn't about expensive ingredients—it's about bringing people together. Her passion for cooking and making everyone feel welcome around the table inspired my love for food. I also admire chefs who respect tradition while pushing culinary boundaries, but the lessons I learned at home remain my strongest influence.
What would you do with the $25,000?Winning $25,000 would allow me to invest in developing my culinary skills through professional training, specialized equipment, and unique cooking experiences. I would also use part of the money to host community and family-centered food events that bring people together through great meals. Most importantly, it would give me the opportunity to turn my passion for cooking into something bigger and create opportunities that otherwise wouldn't be possible
