Receive Text UpdatesMy signature dish is a rich black pearl oyster mushroom étouffée over creamy Creole grits, served with a warm corn muffin finished with agave vanilla butter. It’s soulful, comforting, bold, and rooted in my Creole heritage while fully plant-based.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My greatest inspiration is my family, Creole roots, and the cultures of the African diaspora. I grew up surrounded by soulful cooking, storytelling, resilience, and love expressed through food, and I carry that spirit into every plant-based dish I create.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the funding to expand Love Nourishment and Haute Couture Vegan through pop-ups, community dinners, youth programs, and culturally rooted plant-based food experiences centered on healing, flavor, and community.
