I love fusion dishes and one of my signatures, is my Korean marinated flank steak charred and served with Mexican street corn salsa and chili dusted roasted potatoes w/ a spicy sweet chili sauce.
Who is your culinary inspiration?I have many different inspirations in culinary, but it starts first with my grandmother my rock. I was raised in a small house by my grand mother Dorothy Jean Oggs. We grew up poor and humble. We didn't have much but my grandmother would always somehow make so much with very little. I would watch her create so much as a child and fell in love with the kitchen. When I was about 7 years old I fell in love with Julia Child and would watch her on channel 8. Thank you.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I was to win, this money would definitely go towards my company to push me forward and make my dream come true. I have always wanted to be in a space of my own to create my vision of what a dinning experience should be. This blessing would definitely push me in that direction. Thank you.
