Receive Text UpdatesLately I've been absolutely killing it with smoked crab legs. Alaskan crab legs, obscene amounts of butter, minced garlic and crab boil at around 250 for about 3 hours. I only cook with wood, I just can't bring myself to use a pellet grill!! Lol
Who is your culinary inspiration?First and foremost, I was raised by my Great grandmother, my grandmother and my aunt predominantly, and they were the foundation of my culinary journey. All them were/are allergic to anything containing meat, so I learned how to not only make vegetarian dishes, but meat dishes with a vegetarian spin. After that it would be my mentor at the Alamo Drafthouse, Nate Seale and then the holy trinity, Anthony Bourdain, Gordon Ramsey, Bobby Flay.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would honestly rebuild my life with my daughter and take her to Disneyland!! I know that probably sounds frivolous but she deserves it and then some!
