Receive Text UpdatesMy signature Nicaraguan dish is called salpicon. Chopped beef with saute onions and bell peppers smothered in lime juice and salt to taste, served with a bed of white jasmine rice and a side of red beans, sweet plantain and delicious fried cheese, served with a tangy shredded slaw.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My mother has been my primary culinary influence. She has a great pallet and is a great cook.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would buy a food truck and launch my own mobile business, introducing Nicaraguan food to the Antelope valley and its surrounding areas.
