What is your signature dish?

Durban Lamb Bunny Chow, because it contains my entire story. Its unforgettable.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

My greatest culinary inspiration is my mother. Growing up on a South African farm, I watched her bake bread, tend vegetable garden, and cook with care and instinct. That foundation shaped the way I see food today. Along my journey through Europe, America, and back to South Africa, I was further inspired by the cultures, markets, gardens, and chefs I encountered. My cooking is rooted in memory, migration, fire, and I believe that food should tell a story.

What would you do with the $25,000?

My dream is to be able to build an outdoor kitchen with a coal fired grill, pizza oven and a EVO flattop grill. A great place to entertain my friends.
