I’m not sure if I really have one single dish that I would say would be a signature. I love making food from different ethnicities. To me, it’s the challenge and the satisfaction of seeing that I can create something that puts a smile on someone’s face. So I don’t know if I really have one dish or realistically it’s whatever the person eating it enjoys.
Who is your culinary inspiration?I have a few people have influenced me in the kitchen. First, I would say my grandmother I would sit and watch my grandmother for hours in the kitchen, singing and preparing meals like it was a walk in the park. Some of the best childhood memories I have is watching her and being with her in the kitchen. Next would be my uncle my uncle would wake up in the morning on a Saturday or Sunday playing whatever music he wanted to hear, singing and dancing offbeat, lol but he would make almost anything.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would celebrate with my family and friends, one huge party that we could eat drink and just enjoy. But also would take my wife on a vacation just the two of us to get away and enjoy each other’s company.
