Would love to highlight my Dominican & Spanish heritage on a stage like Taste of Home! Love being able to gather people around a table.

Receive Text UpdatesI enjoy making risottos a lot but with a more cultural twist. My sweet plantain risotto with braised beef ribs brings more of my Dominican heritage to light or my Pimenton de La Vera risotto with shrimp plays more on my Spanish roots.
Who is your culinary inspiration? My culinary inspiration personally is my grandmother, Solines. She came from very humble beginnings in Spain, moved to The DR at a young age and brought with her Spanish culture and love for good food. She has always given food and time around the table the most importance and is where my love for food and most importantly my love for being able to bring people together to enjoy a good meal roots from. Professionally, Jose Andres. He has a way of bringing people to the table through good food.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000 I were to invest in a property in a small town in the outskirts of Atlanta where my family and I could create a space where we could have people come together to celebrate special occasions around the table and enjoy good food, good company and the land.
